-- WHY tonight's call?
Ideas to get ready for January!
- See the post below about "Getting Started and/or Restarted"
--- Evaluate your business and set some Goals
--- Live it! Post your New Years Resolutions in vinyl!
--- CREATE AND ORGANIZE YOUR CUSTOMER LISTS!!
--- Get finances in order
--- Diversify your customer base (craft nights, craft fairs, etc.)
--- Put your own unique personality into your 2010 business - make it fun!
- Email your customers with current promotions and a teaser of what is coming up
--- Uppercase just recently sent out an email to demo's here is a link to the online version here.
This is a great starting place - copy and paste what you need and get that email out there!
- Start booking for January!
--- Idea from Jessica Crawford - chose "bonus" booking dates (the first week or two in January) and offer something extra for your hostess or customers
--- Idea from Marci Rumfeldt - "Booking Blitz" make calls until you have your calendar as full as you want. This may take some time on the phone but then you are done.
--- Use your list of customers with Double Up Rewards as a starting point to contact about hosting an open house. You can call them, send them a card in the mail, a complimentary catalog or anything else that you can come up with.
- Be Your Own Hostess
--- When was the last time you hosted your own open house?
--- Idea by Nicole Lewellyn - 8 hour open house, great refreshments, offers the option for "Key Hostesses". What is a that? The hostess loads up her friends and family in the car and they come to Nicole's house. The hostess gets all the benefits with out having to clean her house etc.
--- What other ideas do you have?
- Write it down!
--- Write down atleast ONE idea or GOAL that you are going to work on between today and the 29th of December. Click on the "comments" and add your goal/idea. If you wish you can remain annonymous - but if you put your name down - you will hold yourself more accountable. If you are not on the live call - you can still post!
Follow up call on December 29th!!
Hopefully the details for Insirations 2010 will be available and we can really get excited about what we have accomplished in the next couple of weeks.

Open House Purse Game
* Use this game as a fun way to introduce Uppercase Living to your Open House guests. It not only is a good icebreaker and gets everyone involved and helps to keep their attention. Reward the individual who can find an item that begins with a requested letter in their purse first with a free piece of vinyl – the etched ‘WISH’ is a great one, giving you the chance to talk about that product, or chocolate is always good. Or give away the FREE customer incentives if you need to clean out inventory, giving you a chance to showcase how they would all work perfectly in the frameworks. A final reward is optional to the winner with the fastest hand. Our incentive sets are great for this or offer free shipping, free 6” letter, whatever you choose! None of this is required…keep it simple and don’t feel you have to give it all away. Add letters or suggestions and have fun!
E – Stands for EXPRESSION! Uppercase Living® was founded in 2006 with the vision of creating an inspiring decorative medium that would allow customers to transform their spaces into a reflection of themselves. This vision was delivered through beautiful decorative lettering and embellishments (possible answer: earring)
V – Stands for VINYL! Expressions and embellishments are made of a very thin vinyl that adheres to most surfaces! (possible answers: Vest, Victoria’s Secret Bra, Vitamins, do you get the idea???)
A – Stands for ANYWHERE! Where can you put Uppercase Living? Virtually anywhere! While directly on your walls is always a great first choice, expressions can be applied to wood, glass, tile, furniture, refrigerators, car windows, mirrors, scrapbook pages, and many other crafts!
R – Stand for REMOVABLE! Our vinyl is also completely removable without damage to your paint or drywall surface making changing your décor for the seasons or events simple.
M – Stands for MY DESIGN TOOL SUITE! While we have a huge selection of pre-designed expressions, the great thing about UL is the fact that you can use our “My Design Suite” to create custom, personalized expressions.
