Project Parties
What is a Project Party? An event where you get together and create projects with Uppercase Living products.
GOAL SETTING
- Product Confidence – as your customers are able to use Uppercase products they will gain more confidence in their ability to use and apply product
- New Customers – be able to reach another group of people excited about the possibilities of Uppercase Living
- Scheduling Opportunities – broaden your business spectrum as more people are interested in opening their homes to a “girls night”. You can also schedule your OWN workshops on a regular or seasonal basis.
- Increase your sales.
- Connect with your downline as you help each other with sharing ideas to assisting at parties.
PLANNING YOUR EVENT
- Chose your date and time
- Decide on a theme – ie. Holiday, back to school, home décor, birthday, kids crafts etc, etc
- Find a location
- Decide on a registration deadline
- Decide on your minimum and maximum attendance required.
CHOOSING YOUR PROJECTS
- Determine how many projects you would like to offer
- Make note of the skill level of your projects. Variety is always nice.
- Don’t prejudge what people will like or pay for
- Try to incorporate UL accessories (ribbon, jewels, knobs)
- Search out ideas and materials – especially accessibility to large quantities if needed.
- Teach something new!
- Test and time
MARKETING
- Get the word out:
o Create a flyer
o Include info in your “About Me”
o Send out emails
o Show your projects at your open houses
- Always keep flyers on hand – in your purse, in your car etc.
- Look for new customer Markets – womens groups, etc.)
- Let others see your enthusiasm
THE BIG EVENT
- Prep Work
- Package your kits
- Have you displays out for people to use as a guide
- Maybe organize a Business Opp mtg on the side or in the other room
- Organize work stations
- Offer LOTS of support and encouragement
- Decide if you would like to offer an incentive for scheduling a project party with you
- Be ready for mistakes
- If it is a large group or number of projects – GET HELP
